The Small Print
Prices are quoted in EUR (euros) for airport or depot collection and return. GBP (pounds sterling) equivalents shown are indications only. Deposits paid in pounds will be credited to your booking in line with the exchange rate at the time. We will quote the GBP amount for the balance when this becomes payable. Groups A, B, C and D are guaranteed available; other groups subject to availability (please check). Models listed are typical for each group but for operational reasons we may substitute a similar model on collection
FREE UPGRADE from Group A to Group B for rentals commencing 1 Nov-30 Jun and 21 Sep-31 Oct
Rent it here, leave it there (Porto, Lisbon, Faro airport or depot to depot): no extra charge for minimum 4 days rental
Cars are provided by RENTAUTO. At Faro they are kept on-airport and the office is a short walk from the Arrivals Hall. At Lisbon and Oporto you will be met by the RentAuto representative in Arrivals and escorted to your vehicle. You may be taken by courtesy bus to their depot nearby
Rates include unlimited mileage, damage waiver (subject to excess), airport service charge and local taxes
Minimum rental 3 days
7th day onwards at discounted rates
Rentals of 3 weeks or more 5 per cent further discount, 4 weeks or more 10 per cent. These discounts will be shown on your confirmation invoice
Rentals spanning seasons are charged at the rate for date of collection
Minimum age of driver 23 years with 1 year's full licence
Total hire period depends on relative times of collection and return eg collect at 1200, return by 1200 1 week later = 1 week (7 days); collect 1200 return 1300 = 8 days (1 week plus 1 extra day

All drivers must carry full licence and photographic identity (ie passport or identity card)
Car seat belts must be worn (front and rear)
Children under 12 years are not allowed to sit in the front
Cancellations:

within 7 days of collection: we regret no refund is possible

Portfolio offers car hire in Portugal based on the three main airports at Porto, Lisbon and Faro. The minimum rental at each location is 3 days and if you book 4 days or more you can collect your car at one airport and return it to either of the other two at no extra charge. This makes our car hire in Portugal ideal for those planning to tour the country from north to south, starting Costa Verde and ending Algarve, or arriving Faro and leaving Lisbon.
Our car hire in Portugal assures you of excellent standards of service and reliability. A representative will meet you at Porto or Lisbon airport with your car or will take you to the local depot to collect it. At Faro we have a check in desk next to Arrivals and the vehicles are parked alongside, so there is no need to transfer. Alternatively we can deliver to or collect from your accommodation if you prefer. Please see above for more details.
